Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a pediatric dentist in Kalamazoo, MI. Our office will always try to schedule appointments at your convenience when there is availability. We recommend that preschool children be seen in the morning. In our experience, morning appointments run smoother with younger children. If your school-aged child misses part of the school day because of an appointment, we can issue a school excuse for them. We recommend scheduling your next appointment as far in advance as possible to get the best selection of appointment times, minimizing school absences.

Parental Involvement
We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow your child to enter the treatment area with our staff while you relax in our reception area. We find we can usually establish a closer rapport with children during appointments when a parent is not in the treatment room. Our goal is to gain your child’s trust and help them overcome dental apprehension. However, if you choose, you are more than welcome to accompany your child to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception area with a supervising adult.
Insurance and Billing
We are a contracted provider for Delta Dental Premiere and Healthy Kids Delta Dental. We are not contracted with any other insurance companies or programs. We will bill other insurances as a courtesy, but we would be classified as an out of network provider. For those with insurance coverage, our system can estimate your portion after insurance. The remaining balance is due at the time of service. Please be advised that your payment is an estimate, and you may still receive a statement in the mail. You will be responsible for any balance your insurance does not pay.
Payment Options
We accept checks, cash, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, and CareCredit. We provide a 10% discount to patients without insurance when payment is made in the form of cash or check.
